Basic Assisted DIY

Basic Assisted DIY Livery

Choose between 5 or 7 day Basic Assisted DIY Livery

  • Morning Feeds: All horses are fed an hour before turnout 7 days per week (feeds are made up and supplied by owner)

  • Turnout:  Morning Turn-out from Autumn until late spring, when they are in at night. Morning Bring-in During late spring and summer, the horses are out at night and in during the day to keep them cool and away from the flies.

  • Rug Change: One rug change when turned out/in, when needed.

  • Fly Spraying: Fly spray (supplied by the owner) or a field fly fringe (supplied by the owner) will be applied.

  • Late Night Checks: Horses are checked every evening to ensure they are all settled and happily munching.

  • Late Night Hay: An additional haynet can be put in the stable during late check if needed (supplied by the owner).

  • Use of Hot Wash Bay

  • Use of Solarium: Mainly for use in winter or on colder days to help dry and keep warm after a hot wash.

  • Riding Facilities: Full use of show jumps, the cross-country course, and the round pen when available.

  • Other Facilities: Use of Secured Tack Room and Tea/Coffee Making Facilities

  • Day & Night Security: Owner lives on-site, along with the manager for most of the time. Gates are closed at all times. â€‹

Assisted PLUS DIY Livery

Choose between 5 day or 7 day Assisted PLUS DIY Livery

  • Morning & Evening Feeds: Morning and evening feeds are made up using Dengie Hifi Original or Lite, Saracens Super Fibre Pencils. Sugar beet can be added during the winter months. All supplements and other feeds are to be supplied by the owner.

  • Ad-lib Hay: We supply only the very best quality organic hay to our liveries. Should your horse require it, we will soak the hay an hour before feeding it.  

  • Turnout and Bring-in:  Morning Turn-out from Autumn until late spring. Brought in at night. From late spring and summer months horses are Brought-in in the morning and turned out at night. 

  • Hooves Picked: Hooves picked out and oiled (Hoof oil supplied by the owner).
